Data Engineer - Remote 

Location: Pakistan (Remote)

Time: 05:00 PM – 02:00 AM PST

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.

- Three to five years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2 development, including stored procedures, functions, and query optimization - Proven expertise in data transformation, mapping, and evaluation - Strong understanding of data pipelines and blob storage.

Principal Responsibilities - Analyze and map data between acquired source systems and target data structures.

- Design and develop ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout migration and integration processes.

- Create and maintain data mapping documentation, including error handling and logging. 

- Support organizational reporting and analytics needs, including ad hoc report creation.

- Collaborate with business teams to identify data gaps and improve data warehouse usability.

- Extract and integrate data from APIs for reporting and analysis.

Favorite Skills - Knowledge of data-driven report design and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). - Familiarity with version control systems (Git, TFS).

 - Exposure to Azure data and analytics services, and deployment using PowerShell or ARM templates.

 - Experience working in Agile environments.
